The name comes from old 'boat tail' bodies, whose rear resembles a boat's hull.

Boat Tail was introduced in 2021 as the second modern Rolls-Royce Coachbuild project after Sweptail. Each car was created in collaboration with its client.

As a result, they are not considered a series but three distinct creations.

Technology

All Boat Tails feature the 6.75-litre V12 engine characteristic of Rolls-Royce. The body is handcrafted, and the rear opens as a 'hospitality' compartment with picnic-ready amenities.

This purpose was one of the project's key features: the car is designed not just for driving but for leisure.

Boat Tail demonstrates that Rolls-Royce can build cars strictly to individual orders. It is often cited among the most remarkable luxury cars of today.
